A marriage guidance counsellor struggles with his own domestic life

This marital comedy features brief shots of the frontages to two Underground stations, Queensway and Stanmore. The film should not be confused with the similar film of 1954 with the same title – qv.

This is Stanmore. Initially opened in December 1932 by the Metropolitan Railway in one of its last acts as an independent concern, by the time this shot was taken it was operating as part of the Bakerloo Line. From 1979, however, it has been the northern terminus of the Jubilee.
