UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

After her husband unexpectedly leaves her, a repressed housewife spontaneously travels from the USA to England to attend the funeral of a singer she adored

This American mid-life, re-invention comedy includes a scene with Kathy Bates travelling south in a carriage on the Severn Valley Railway. There are good interior shots but nothing of the exterior is seen. My thanks extend to Patrick Hearn of the SVR Wiki for providing me with information about the vast amount of filming that has taken place on the line, including several films of which I was wholly unaware.

This more conventional view looking the other way shows a completely empty carriage!
