The adventures of a young lad as he tries to get his beloved donkey back after it is sold by mistake

This children’s adventure is another film from the CFF stable to feature excellent railway footage. Most of this takes place on the CIE network in Ireland with a lengthy sequence filmed at the closed Lucan South station in County Dublin with a goods train hauled by J15 Class 0-6-0 No.171. Over in England, there are some shots of railway wagons at Liverpool Docks, some scenes filmed at London Victoria with a 6 PUL EMU departing, and a shot of the frontage to Haywards Heath station in West Sussex.
