A look at the relationship between the famous physicist Stephen Hawking and his wife

This biographical romantic drama was adapted by Anthony McCarten from the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Wilde Hawking. There is a short scene filmed at the ever-popular Horsted Keynes on the Bluebell Railway, which in this instance is playing the part of Cambridge. Although there are good shots of BR green-liveried Mk.1 coaches no locomotives feature.

Eddie Redmayne makes his way up onto the platform at Horsted Keynes. The only evidence that this station was playing the part of Cambridge was the sign on the wall of the underpass in the background which advertises trains to King’s Lynn, Downham Market and Ely.
