Two hopelessly inept Whitehall civil servants dedicate their careers to mastering the art of doing absolutely nothing

This South African adaptation of the British radio sitcom The Men from the Ministry may be difficult to find, but there is a reason it remains largely unknown. Whereas the radio show was a popular past time for many, this obscure comedy film is painfully hard to watch, and is dreadfully unfunny. The sole railway content appears early on in the film when we get a brief shot of commuters boarding Class 310 EMUs at a station on the West Coast main line.

Passengers on their morning commute board a train formed of Class 310 EMUs somewhere on the West Coast main line south of Crewe
The only other piece of railway history is this earlier form of tube map used as a prop on the wall of the studio set office. Quite nice really.
