A British film star is persuaded to offer himself in a lottery in the hope of finding a wife
This Ealing comedy features a couple of shots of passing express trains. The scenes are filmed day for night, or at least at dusk, making the images not entirely clear. The first is hauled by a de-streamlined ex-LMS ‘Duchess’ Class 7P 4-6-2 as it is possible to work out that the ‘Duchess’ still features its sloping smokebox, but the identity of the locomotive hauling the second train can not be made out.
