A 12-year old boy carries love-letters between a farmer and his friend’s sister living at a stately home
This romantic drama is an adaptation of the 1953 novel of the same name by L. P. Hartley and features a shot of the frontage of Norwich station. Although the film is set in the 1900’s the station plays the part of a flash-forward scene to the future, thus explaining its out of sync appearance with 1970’s cars and fashions.
