An American agent works with Scotland Yard to track down an international counterfeit gang

This crime thriller features several good shots of the old London Liverpool Street station with a Class 47 diesel and Class 305 EMUs visible. There are also two indistinct run-bys of an express at night.

This is the entrance to Liverpool Street station, London EC2. Not all that common in films and now vastly changed.
Now inside the station we can see a Class 47 ‘on the blocks’ with a Class 305 EMU arriving behind
Conveniently the two characters in the story have to pass in front of the Class 47, and the cameraman duly obliges in following their progress. The headcode could be 1K67, with the ‘7’ having motioned round so that only the top of the number is visible.
This is a view looking out of Liverpool Street station towards the junction of Liverpool Street and Old Broad Street. A much extended station has seen this area now change beyond all recognition. All photos courtesy of reelstreets.
