A group of East End spivs unwittingly get involved with illegal immigrants

In one of the climatic sequences to this crime film, Ken Stott races into Canary Wharf Underground station and boards a train of 1996-built stock. London Transport C and D type stock also appears in the background to one early scene.

In the background to this shot, beyond the trees and through the fence, can be seen a train of LT C stock, probably working a Hammersmith & City Line service
And in this similar view, a train of LT D stock forms a District Line service. This and the above image confirms the location as probably being somewhere on the eastern end of the District where Hammersmith & City Line trains ran as far as Barking
These are the escalators at Canary Wharf on the Jubilee Line with their distinctive curved glass roof
Down at platform level and a train of 1996-built tube stock arrives. Note the platform edge doors that were provided at the stations on the Jubilee Line extension.
An overall view of the platforms after the train has departed shows just how light and airy this station really is. The sunlight streaming down the escalators belies the fact that this is a ‘deep level’ tube station.
