A released schizophrenic causes problems for his brother and a young pregnant woman he meets

This drama is a harrowing portrayal of a young man battling schizophrenia and was filmed almost entirely on location in Shepherd’s Bush, West London. There are several scenes that have London Underground C stock passing on Hammersmith & City Line services, but most are indistinct and on the periphery of the shots. However, there are a couple of decent night time runbys of trains, and the frontages to both Goldhawk Road and Shepherd’s Bush stations are also seen. Look out for the view overlooking the A40 at Westbourne Park where a Hammersmith & City Line train can be seen arriving into the station. There is also a short scene with Daniel Craig and Kelly Macdonald onboard a train on the Bluebell Railway.

One of the entrances to Shepherd’s Bush H&C station can be seen behind Daniel Craig as he walks down the Uxbridge Road. The station was renamed Shepherd’s Bush Market in 2008 when the new Wood Lane opened.
Peter McDonald and Kelly Macdonald stand on the corner of Goldhawk Road and Wells Road. One of the entrances to Goldhawk Road Underground station is in the left hand background. The bus is on its way back to the garage in Wells Road.
A Hammersmith & City Line train comprised of London Underground C stock trundles through the cityscape in this rather fine shot. This appears to be Westbourne Park, with the tracks of the Great Western main line in the centre foreground. The train will shortly burrow under these and rise on the opposite side of the tracks at Royal Oak.
Filmed from the top of No.53 Goldhawk Road, a C stock train crosses the bridge on the approach to Goldhawk Road station, just out of view to the left. The semi-circular sign on the right advertises Shepherd’s Bush Market.
This most unusual aerial view shows the junction of Wells Road and Goldhawk Road, with the blue and red entrance to the station lower left
The A40 Westway sweeps through the centre of this aerial view of Westbourne Park. The roof of the bus depot is on the right whilst the Great Western Road bridge with the building of Westbourne Park Underground station is on the left. Note the C stock train creeping into the very top left hand corner of the picture.
This short sequence, filmed courtesy of the Bluebell Railway, probably utilised a BR-built Southern Region EMU. The NSE Donkey stripe seat moquette was an absolute classic!! One of the brick retaining walls for Sharpthorne Tunnel can be seen through the window.
