Starring: Michael Caine and Claire Rushbrook

A ruthlessly ambitious boxing promoter puts his son up for a fight he cannot win

This crime thriller features an unusual night-time scene filmed at Stratford Diesel Depot where Class 37 No.37518 can be seen stabled in the sidings alongside the running shed with a Railfreight European-liveried Class 47, and two Class 58s for company. The 58s are very rare on film, and here we get two!! Three other shots of trains feature throughout the film, but all are visible only in the background periphery to scenes and are thus very indistinct. One shows a blurred train passing behind houses at night, another filmed by a canal at night has a train of coaching stock moving slowly in the middle distance, whilst the third shot filmed from a block of flats has a very blurred image of a slam-door EMU in Stagecoach SWT colours passing behind Michael Caine.

Contemporary diesel traction on view at Stratford depot in east London. From left to right we have a Class 37, a 58, a 47, and another Class 58. Only the 37 is identifiable in the form of 37518.
