A detective on a murder case unearths some surprising information about the victim

This short and pretty decent little crime thriller includes a scenario that leads police to London Victoria station. There is a night shot of the frontage to the station, but the internal scene uses a ubiquitous stock shot of GWR trains in the platforms at Paddington! Thanks to Trevor Johnson for providing the film.

A rare night shot of the frontage to Victoria station
The platform shot in the film uses this regularly seen piece of footage of GWR trains at Paddington. The origin of this stock shot is not yet known, but it also appeared in The October Man (1947), The Flying Scot (1957), The Battle of the Sexes (1959), and The Devil’s Daffodil (1961).
