Refugees in London become embroiled with anarchists

This drama features a few locomotives as the flat in which the anarchists meet overlooks the approaches to London Paddington station. GWR locomotives that feature include a ‘Hall’ 4-6-0, a 5700-series 0-6-0PT, and a 5101-series 2-6-2T.

A view from outside the flat gives a glimpse of coaching stock stabled in sidings adjacent to the main line on the right
This, pleasingly, is a genuine view from the window of the flat, and not the usual back-projection. A Pannier Tank stands in the foreground complete with shunters truck, whilst a ‘Hall’ passes by in the background on an express.
With the window now closed and the curtains drawn the view is less clear, but the train passing is hauled in this instance by a 5101 Class 2-6-2T. This view appears to be overlooking the line out of Paddington, in the area between Westbourne Park and Ladbroke Grove.
