Disheartened by the fact that his compositions aren’t being played on the wireless, a music composer sets up his own pirate radio station

This musical comedy is basically a revue film, with a minimum of plot interspersed with musical numbers. The copy of the film shown recently was much cut down from its original 89 minutes to that of just 37 minutes, and from this we must assume that the original version was partially lost or badly damaged. Fortunately, many of the musical numbers remain, and for good measure, it also features several London trams.

This is Westminster Bridge, with the Houses of Parliament in the background complete with scaffolding. Note the tram crossing the bridge.
As a removals van heads down Chapter Street, a tram crosses behind it on Vauxhall Bridge Road
