An ode to the mundanity and madness of the high street, told through the window of an African hair salon

This modern day arthouse flick is filmed wholly within the confines of a hair salon in Peckham yet it opens with a very fast moving montage of photographic clips taken in and around southeast London. When this sequence is slowed down we get to see brief glimpses of some electric units passing over bridges, as well as the Peckham Rye station sign, but there is one good shot of a Thameslink Class 700 EMU passing over viaduct arches on the approach to Peckham Rye station.

A Thameslink Class 700 makes its way through the southeast London landscape. Peckham Rye station is just a little out of shot to the left.

This unusual collection of pictures features two EMU’s crossing bridges. The photo bottom left is of another Class 700 whilst that seen at the extreme top left is probably a London Overground Class 378.
