A police officer whose colleague was killed on duty takes charge of an Alsatian to help track down his killer

This crime film has an opening panning shot at night that ends with a view looking down Baynes Street, Camden. The carriage lights of a train can be seen crossing the railway bridge at the end of the street on a North London Line passenger service but it is otherwise to dark to make anything out.

The train crossing the bridge at the end of the street is a passenger service on the North London Line. This is a shot looking north down Baynes Street and the bridge lies east of Camden Road station. An exact replica of this scene was used a year later in The Hostage (qv).
