A film based on the true story of British humanitarian Nicholas Winton
This award winning biographical drama received much praise and is based on the book If It’s Not Impossible…The Life of Sir Nicholas Winton, written by his daughter Barbara Winton. Despite references online stating that filming took place at both the Didcot Railway Centre and London Liverpool Street, all the historical railway scenes took place in the Czech Republic at Prague Main station with a preserved 354.7 Class 2-6-2 featuring very prominently. There are, however, a number of short scenes filmed onboard the London Underground using the preserved train of 1938 stock.
