An aspiring fashion designer is mysteriously able to return to 1960s London, but the glamour is not all that it seems
This psychological horror has an early journey by train as Thomasin McKenzie travels from Cornwall to London early in the film to begin her life as a fashion design student. There are interior shots of her riding in standard class of a GWR IET, and shots through the window of the landscape along the GWML between Didcot and Cholsey, and later the approach to Paddington. A reverse shot of her through the window of the train shows LUL S stock passing alongside behind her on a Hammersmith & City Line service. There’s also an insert shot from the cab as the train leaves a tunnel, but it’s Primrose Hill tunnel on the approach to Euston, with some CGI-added blocks of flats which would be along Adelaide Road in real life. Back on the right track, she alights at Paddington on platform 1, looking up at the famous clock. The unit we see in the background is 802001.
