A disillusioned Christmas store worker forms a relationship with a mysterious man

Based on theĀ 1984 song of the same name, and inspired by the music of George Michael, this romantic comedy with a terribly tragic twist includes a shot of the frontage to Brixton Underground station, much redeveloped since its opening in 1971 as the southern terminus of the Victoria Line. There are also three separate shots looking down Brick Lane with Class 378’s crossing the bridge on London Overground services, two at night, and one in the day.

The frontage to Brixton Underground station on Brixton Road. Interesting fact: The London Underground roundel is the largest on the entire network.
In this busy night scene looking south down Brick Lane, a Class 378 on a London Overground service crosses the bridge between Whitechapel and Shoreditch High Street stations. An identical shot appears later in the film.
In this near-identical shot in the day, another Class 378 crosses over Brick Lane
