Dir: Paul Greengrass
Starring: Matt Damon and Julia Stiles

Jason Bourne, now remembering who he truly is, tries to uncover hidden truths about his past

This action thriller is the fifth film in the Bourne film series but is the direct sequel to the third movie The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) (qv) (try to keep up!). The film features a scene at Woolwich Arsenal DLR station, transformed into ‘Athens’ for the film complete with plenty of Greek signage! An arriving formation of DLR stock has B07 set 112 at the front complete with spurious ‘Athens Metro’ branding. There is also an aerial view of a Eurostar passing through the Kent countryside, followed by a scene with Matt Damon onboard.

Docklands Light Railway unit 112 arrives at Woolwich Arsenal station, playing the part of Athens
Much Greek signage was used to add to the effect that this was a station purporting to be on the Athens Metro
Passengers leave the station on the upper concourse level as Matt Damon makes his way to the left luggage lockers, which were an added prop.
This Eurostar set is flying along HS1 somewhere in Kent as the old South Eastern third-rail route is alongside. Note that the power car is one of the few to have received the new ‘Euro Blue’ livery. Neil Bays has identified this as east of Ashford, somewhere between that town and the village of Smeeth.
