An airman and his wife have to learn to adjust to life at home together again after he returns from the war

This post war musical drama was a bit of an anomaly. With an Edwardian orchestra it is apparently set in a time warp and could have offered an awful lot more than the insipid fair served up. However, the importance of the subject made it popular and it was produced to a higher budget than was usual for the time. It features a couple of shots of passing trains of LMS origin, one hauled by a ‘Black Five’ but the other cropped so that only the coaches are visible.

As one scene closes another one opens to this going away shot of an LMS express passing the camera, hauled by a ‘Black Five’ 4-6-0
Which is complimented later by this shot of a passing LMS express
