A murderer on the run hides out with a young novelists who decides to use his story for her next book

This curious thriller, filmed in 1937 but not released until two years later, includes a scene with James Mason outside Cookham station on the former Maidenhead to High Wycombe line, a line now truncated at Bourne End.

As James Mason runs away from the station he heads for the level crossing, giving us a good glimpse of the signal box.
