HUNTED IN HOLLAND

Dir: Derek Williams
Starring: Sean Scully and Walter Randall

A young man visits his penfriend in Holland only to become involved with a gang of diamond thieves

This Children’s Film Foundation family crime drama is set entirely in Holland, and was filmed under the working title of Lend Me Your Clogs. There are excellent shots of trams in Amsterdam yet despite the film’s international setting there are a few opening English scenes. These include a shot of passengers disembarking from a boat train at Harwich Parkeston Quay station with BR Mark 1 coaching stock in the platform.

Passengers leave the train at Harwich Parkeston Quay and head for the ferry to the Hook of Holland. The station was renamed Harwich International in 1995.
