Having lost his wife to another man, a mild-mannered guy sets off to Blackpool to find her

This pretty decent comedy drama has some extensive scenes filmed on the Blackpool seafront. It is no surprise therefore that a number of trams feature quite prominently – single-deck Brush Railcoaches and a Centenary car, and double-deck Balloon and rebuilt Millennium cars.

A tram comes into the foreground of this shot, and closer inspection reveals it to be Balloon Car No.720 advertising the Valhalla ride (and the Daily Star newspaper).
A Brush Railcoach is receding towards Blackpool’s iconic tower in this classic view of the promenade
A yellow Centenary tram vies for attention in the background of this shot looking out of a Bed & Breakfast window
Rebuilt Millennium Car No.709 heads past the tower on a late evening service to Bispham (pronounced Bispem)
Trundling along in the background of this final shot is Brush Railcoach No.630, advertising Karting 2000
