A film depicting the lives of several passengers in the hours before they are involved in a bus crash

This decent drama has a couple of characters arriving at London King’s Cross station on an express hauled by LNER A1 Class 4-6-2 No.2582 Sir Hugo. Although this is real enough the scene filmed on the London Underground was a studio set. As can be seen from the poster, the film’s title was often shortened to ‘Friday the 13th’.

There may only be one railway shot in this film but it’s a good one. LNER A1 No.2582 Sir Hugo arrives at King’s Cross in what is a particular fine study of a contemporary express train of the era.
