A struggling advertising man is tasked by his boss with trying to come up with a sexy new image for porridge

There is a sequence in this comedy film whereby a van that has been converted into a tube of toothpaste for advertising the new ‘sno-white’ brand is running around various parts of London. In one shot it passes along New Malden High Street as a pair of SR 4 SUB EMUs pass over the railway bridge above.

As the tube of toothpaste runs along the road, a pair of 4 SUBs cross the bridge above, one of which is still in BR green. The train has just pulled out of New Malden station (off camera to the right), the signal box for which was still operational at the time and is visible behind the train.
