An Indian foreign intelligence agent named Tiger is tasked with recovering critical information before it is seized by enemies from Pakistan

This Hindi language action thriller has a lengthy scene filmed on a Dublin Luas tram – an epic fight scene that leaves a lot to be desired in the way of plot. The main character Tiger, played by Salaman Khan, chases a mystery assailant onto a tram by jumping on to its roof (!) then, after smashing his way in and overpowering his nemesis realises the tram is a runaway and proceeds to climb back on to the roof (by somersaulting out of the smashed cab window) and pulling the pantograph down from the overhead wire thus cutting power to the tram and averting disaster at the very last second!!! This sensationalism is typical of Bollywood blockbusters yet no matter how unbelieveable this all may be it works rather well and is quite good fun. Actual shots of Citadis 402 trams are interspersed with CGI imagery, with tram 5012 identifiable in a number of shots. The film’s title translates to There Was Once (a Man Named) Tiger.

This is St. Stephen’s Green in the heart of Dublin. A Luas tram is on the left and the building of the University of Medicine and Health Sciences is on the right.
This aerial view shows a Citadis tram at the corner of St. Stephen’s Green and Cuffe Street
Salman Khan is seen ‘on top’ of tram 5012 in this view looking south down Harcourt Street to the corner of Hatch Street Upper
This CGI image from atop a tram is slightly further back than the above image, and is looking north down Harcourt Street
In this more traditional ground level viewa CGI tram speeds along Harcourt Street with smashed windscreen
The exact location of this final street view is not entirely clear as the perspective is somewhat stretched but the green dome in the background belongs to the Custom House
