A French girl exposes swindlers who faked her father’s suicide

This mystery romance has one railway scene towards the end which shows an express hauled by a GWR 4-6-0, possibly a ‘Hall’, passing through Denham Golf Club Halt, but viewed from the road below.

The single railway shot in the film sees David Niven and Nora Swinburne run past a railway line as a train passes on the embankment above. The GWR pagoda style waiting shelter belongs to Denham Golf Club Halt, which means the couple are running down Slade Oak Lane.
As the train comes fully into view, thus blocking the small waiting shelter from view, the loco is revealed to be a GWR 4-6-0.
