A juvenile street gang in post-war London move from snatching purses to armed robbery

This crime drama features several night shots of District Line trains crossing a bridge in Hammersmith, though a Piccadilly Line train can also be seen during one day time sequence. The film was based on the play Master Crook by Bruce Walker and was released in the United States as The Slasher.

As James Kenney walks down Leamore Street in Hammersmith, W6, a District Line train crosses the bridge behind him. This location is just to the west of Hammersmith (tube) station.
In this daytime shot, a train of ‘Standard’ tube stock crosses the bridge on a Piccadilly Line service. The lower profile of the train allows us to see the brick wall behind it, which formed part of the viaduct that once carried the LSWR line from Studland Junction.
