The neglected wife of a cab driver sets up a rival business with female drivers

The seventh in the series of Carry On films was shot almost entirely in Windsor and has a few scenes that were filmed outside Windsor & Eton Riverside station. In another scene filmed at the Arthur Road roundabout with Goswell Road in the town, Central station can clearly be seen on the viaduct behind.

Michael Ward has been dropped off at the station and the frontage to Windsor & Eton Riverside forms the background
This is the Arthur Road roundabout in Windsor as viewed from Denmark Square. Windsor’s other station, Windsor and Eton Central, can clearly be seen in the right hand background forming part of the railway viaduct on which it stands.

This rather grand building is in fact the entrance to the former ‘Royal Waiting Room’ on Datchet Road that served the station behind. In the film, it plays the part of a mortuary!
