ARTHUR? ARTHUR!

GB
1969
1hr 40mins
Dir: Samuel Gallu
Starring: Donald Pleasence and Shelley Winters

A dull, henpecked, failure of an inventor lives an alternative life as a dashing, debonair philanderer

This strange and often bewildering comedy is based on the 1967 novel The Man Who Killed Himself by Julian Symons. According to the British Film Institute, the film was never theatrically released in the UK, but obtained a US release in 1975. It features some brief scenes with Donald Pleasence on the concourse at London Euston, but no trains are visible.

Donald Pleasence posts a letter on the concourse at London Euston. The escalators to the Underground are behind the facility wall on the right.
