Two Londoners make a fake alien movie that is taken as genuine

This sci-fi comedy relates the events surrounding the famous ‘alien autopsy’ film of 1995, promoted by Ray Santilli, but the movie was only a moderate commercial success. In the film, Ant and Dec’s house is located close to a railway line in Hackney E8, and a couple of one ‘rainbow’-liveried Class 315 EMU’s are seen passing over a bridge early on in the movie.

The screen caption states Hackney, which is correct. Beck Road to be precise, looking west towards Sheep Lane. The colourful Class 315 passing over the bridge is slightly obscured by the setting sun. It is running on the line between Cambridge Heath and London Fields stations. A similiar view appears in The Ghoul (2016 – qv).
