Three chorus girls compete for the affections of the same wealthy batchelor

This romantic comedy is based on the 1936 Emery Bonett novel of the same title and features a short, studio-bound rail journey from Southampton-Waterloo. The carriage interior is the usual set, but a train of vintage carriages passes by as part of the back-projection sequence outside the window.

Renée Houston and Naunton Wayne onboard the ‘boat train’. Given the fact that they are travelling to Waterloo, that may be a pre-war Southern Railway EMU passing on the other side of the window.
