PARTING SHOTS

GB
1998

Dir: Michael Winner
Starring: Chris Rea and Felicity Kendal

A terminally ill cancer patient decides to kill all those who have made his life a misery

This pretty awful crime comedy features a scene at London Victoria station with a Class 423 4 VEP EMU visible, and a scene filmed at Latimer Road Underground station on the Hammersmith & City Line with LT C stock present. Finally, there is a very interesting sequence filmed from the offices above Charing Cross station and though no trains are readily visible in this sequence, Hungerford Bridge and the station platforms can be readily made out.

A train of LT C stock arrives into Latimer Road on the Hammersmith & City Line
Whilst down at street level, police run towards the station entrance
In one of the more interesting depictions of London’s railways this is a scene filmed inside the office development that has been built above Charing Cross station. Stretching off into the middle distance is Hungerford Bridge with the platforms of the station just visible nearest to the windows.
