A protective spirit inhabiting their home has other plans when a failing author plots to kill his wife

This suspense drama was based on the 1960 novel of the same name by Laurence Meynell and features a scene with Patricia Dainton getting picked up from the entrance of an unknown railway station.

Sometimes this is as good as it will get. Patricia Dainton leaves a railway station at night. The only identifiable feature is the postbox in the wall. However, an electric multiple unit can be heard departing and the lights visible through the doorway are in fact the platform lights reflecting off the carriage sides as it pulls away.
There’s that postbox again. Some scenes in this film were shot in Walton-on-Thames, so if we take that into consideration, could this be the entrance to Walton-on-Thames station?
