A sports fan’s romantic courtship clashes with his obsession with his favourite football team – Arsenal

This sporting drama is based loosely on Nick Hornby’s 1992 best-selling memoir Fever Pitch: A Fan’s Life and unsurprisingly there are a number of shots showing the frontage of Arsenal Underground station.

The frontage to the Piccadilly Line station, formerly Gillespie Road, and renamed Arsenal in 1932 at the height the club’s fame between the wars
This is actually a really good shot looking down Highbury Hill towards the station. Initially, the station was renamed Arsenal (Highbury Hill) though the suffix was dropped in 1960.
