An unsuccessful writer swaps his identity with that a murder victim

Near the beginning of this crime noir there is a brief shot of LNER N7/2 Class 0-6-2T No.2656 standing at an unknown station at night. The station is called ‘Templemere’, though its real identity is not known. It is probable that the station is a studio set, with a shot of a steam locomotive then ‘cut in’. The film is based on the 1939 novel Hidden, by H. C. Armstrong.
