This Anglo-American drama is based on the stage play of the same name by Mark St. Germain, which itself is based upon the 2002 book The Question of God, by Armand Nicholi. It features scenes filmed at the RPSI base at Whitehead with K2 Class 2-6-0 No.461 on a train consisting of vehicles 68, 87, 91 and 697. Interestingly, the departure and arrival scenes used Hudswell Clarke 0-4-0ST No.3BG Guinness as (hidden) motive power.
