A group of lesbian and gay activists raise money to help families affected by the British miners’ strike in 1984

This historical comedy-drama doesn’t quite reach the standards it sets out to achieve, but it was nonetheless well received. It has a very good overall shot of Stoke Mandeville station in Buckinghamshire plus a scene that may have been filmed at the entrance to an Underground station on the Northern Line.

Lovely shot. Lovely station. This is Stoke Mandeville, looking southeast towards Wendover from the Station Road overbridge. The crossover visible through the footbridge has since been removed.
Pride participants make their way out of an Underground station. Whether this is a real station or not, the route map on the wall behind shows the Northern Line.
Looking out from the station to the street. That distinctive archway should help tie a location down.
