BRIDGET JONES’S BABY - British Railway Movie Database

BRIDGET JONES’S BABY

GB / US / FRA
2016
2hrs 3mins
Dir: Sharon Maguire
Starring: Renée Zellweger and Patrick Dempsey

Now in her forties Bridget falls pregnant, but is unsure as to who the father is

This was the third film in the Bridget Jones franchise and was the sequel to the 2004 film Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (qv). Like The Edge of Reason there are several views of Bridget’s flat in Borough Market, and on this occasion Class 375 ‘Electrostar’ and Class 465 ‘Networker’ EMUs pass. In addition, there is a brief glimpse of Cannon Street station with Class ‘Networker’ EMUs in the platforms, and a scene filmed at St Pancras station, though Class 373 Eurostar sets do not feature prominently here.

Here we see a Class 375 Electrostar passing Borough Market.
This is a panning view along the Thames and in these shots one always has to observe the background because Blackfriars, Cannon Street and Charing Cross stations quite often sneak into view. This is one such instance. Cannon Street station with its familiar towers is on the right with ‘Networker’ EMU stock in the platforms.
Bridget Jones meets her friend at St Pancras. It is very rare indeed to see the platforms behind devoid of a ‘Eurostar’.
As Patrick Dempsey looks out of the window to Bridget’s flat, a class 465/466 EMU passes by outside.
