An habitual gambler down on his luck is approached by a man who claims to have invented a machine that can see into the future

This silent science fiction short from the Hepworth Studios portrays a number of familiar London landmarks in the future, and it doesn’t always make for pleasant viewing. Trafalgar Square has been flooded and the Houses of Parliament has become an airship docking station. Meanwhile, Tower Bridge has a monorail running over it and a railway underneath it!

The Tower Bridge of the future……. In reality this is a shot of a double-track, third-rail electrified railway on the Southern with a model of the bridge superimposed over the image.
