Passions stir when a small Irish town erects a monument in memory of an IRA rebel killed during the Irish War for Independence

This Irish comedy drama was an adaptation of the play of the same name by Louis D’Alton. It features one quite lengthy scene that was filmed onboard a train with Leslie Philips and Audrey Dalton dining in a refreshment car. There is a shot of a branch train passing through the countryside folowed by an arrival, and departure scene, at a small country station. The train is hauled by a Metro-Vick C Class diesel, but the exact location of these shots is not yet known.

This delightful shot opens the railway sequence in the film, and shows a train passing through the Irish countryside hauled by a British-built Metro-Vick C Class diesel.
The train pulls into an as yet unidentified station. The C Class loco does not get any closer to the camera than this but it appears to be C221.

The train departs, showing the small signal box to the left
