This post-apocalyptic horror is the fourth instalment of the “28” film series, and was shot back-to-back with its predecessor, 28 Years Later (qv). The pair were released only seven months apart, so it stands to reason that the same train appears in this film too, namely the Class 31 with Mk.2 coaching stock on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway. However, this production features an additional train ride, and the scenery and stations visible through the train windows do not appear to match the line at Embsay, suggesting filimg elsewhere – the Weardale Railway perhaps?
