An innocent young girl travels to London from her home in Devon and gets mixed up with various unsavoury characters

This short crime drama features good shots of passing GWR expresses at both the start and end of the film, and both the trains are hauled by ‘Hall’ Class 4-6-0s. The scenes onboard the trains and at the stations are studio sets, but there is a montage sequence of London scenes, and tram No.625 appears briefly in one. The ‘Hall’ in the opening shot is No.5960 Saint Edmund Hall.

The film’s opening shot is rather fine and shows a GWR express hauled by ‘Hall’ No.5960 Saint Edmund Hall.
Tram No.625 working route 26, Hop Exchange to Kew Bridge via Southwark – Blackfriars Bridge – Victoria Embankment – Westminster Bridge – Vauxhall – Clapham Junction – Wandsworth – Putney – Putney Bridge – Hammersmith and Chiswick.
In the closing of the film we get a glimpse of another GWR express, probably in the hands of another Hall.
