A university student who wins a place on a University Challenge quiz team cheats during the show

This below-par comedy drama features a snowy scene filmed at Horsted Keynes station on the Bluebell Railway, and a couple of brief shots filmed on the platforms of Bristol Temple Meads station. Although Southern Railway Bulleid coaches are present at the former, no trains are seen in the Bristol shots. The screenplay for the film was written by David Nicholls, adapted from his own novel Starter for Ten that was first published in 2003.

This shot filmed at Bristol Temple Meads appears twice in the movie, once at the beginning and once towards the end. Trains appear in neither view.
James McAvoy alights from the train at a snowy Horsted Keynes
Where he finds Alice Eve waiting for him
In this relatively rare view of the frontage to Horsted Keynes, James McAvoy is standing in the doorway. The station plays the part of one somewhere in ‘Suffolk’ and notice the InterCity poster displayed on the wall on the left. The paper snow looks real enough, but was apparently still being removed months later!!
