An avenging father hires an assassin to find the criminals who killed his daughter

This oft forgotten and pretty decent crime thriller is adapted from Slayground, the 14th Parker novel by Donald E. Westlake. The first half of the film was shot in New York State before it switches to the UK, where locations include London, Southport and Blackpool. For the latter location, no film would be complete without a shot of the trams, and we are treated to one particularly fine view of a Brush railcoach and a double-deck Balloon passing on the promenade.

In this view of Blackpool seafront a single-deck Brush railcoach is on the left. The tram approaching on the right is an English Electric double-deck Balloon.
